She's back!!!!

I got back from California last night around 7ish. Loo picked me up and we went to dinner. Good times. Dax stayed and went to the San Diego Chargers game and is en route currently back to me. He had a great time at the game. I am glad we could switch his ticket. He was so fired up about seeing Payton Manning in person. He has already said that he wants to see the Colts play when they come to Baltimore. He also got to hang out with our friend that we just met named Bill... and he was so fired up to go as well. We had a great time in CA. We saw so many people and ate a ton, and got to go a bunch of fun places, and shop tons. I had two glasses of wine the night before we left when we needed to pack and I did a terrible job of packing. Forgot shoes, so we ended up having to go buy some to go with my outfits. Sort of a bummer, sort of cool. We spent a ton more money than we had planned, but had a good time. My parents are totally dysfunctional and I am understanding the extent of that. So, that is great! The wedding (the whole reason we went there) turned out to be very beautiful and fun. Dax did the ceremony and Jeni and James are officially married now. So, it was a success. I told Jeni that if she needed to have someone help with the odds and ends that no one can do, I would be glad to help out. It ended up being close to me being the wedding coordinator. Which is totally fine with me... but I was just awestruck at the things that they failed to think about. Pretty amazing come to think of it. I came home to Wrigley having a cold. It really is the cutest thing. He keeps sneezing, and he is totally acting under the weather. I love that little guy. .

george carlin

Carlin was noted for his black humor as well as his thoughts on politics, the English language, psychology, religion, and various taboo subjects. Carlin and his "Seven Dirty Words" comedy routine were central to the 1978 U.S. Supreme Court case F.C.C. v. Pacifica Foundation, in which a narrow 5–4 decision by the justices affirmed the government's power to regulate indecent material on the public airwaves. The first of his 14 stand-up comedy specials for HBO was filmed in 1977. In the 1990s and 2000s, Carlin's routines focused on the flaws in modern-day America. He often commented on contemporary political issues in the United States and satirized the excesses of American culture. His final HBO special, It's Bad for Ya, was filmed less than four months before his death. Carlin placed second on the Comedy Central cable television network list of the 100 greatest stand-up comedians, ahead of Lenny Bruce and behind Richard Pryor. He was a frequent performer and guest host on The Tonight Show during the three-decade Johnny Carson era, and hosted the first episode of Saturday Night Live.
